RollCheck Privacy Policy

atelier-flare ("we") respects your privacy in connection with the iOS app RollCheck ("the app") and handles information in accordance with this policy.
1. Information We Collect and Store
The app stores the following information on your device:
- Your decision status for each photo (keep / delete candidate / hold, etc.) and the time of the decision
- Organization state such as filters and album assignments
- A cache of AI photo analysis results (see Section 3)
- App settings (swipe mode, display mode, etc.)
This information is stored only on your device and is never sent to any server, including ours.
2. Handling of Photo Data
The app reads and displays photos and videos in your iOS photo library. The app itself never transmits your files to any external destination, including our servers. Only when you explicitly approve in the final confirmation step does the app issue a deletion request for the selected photos to the iOS photo library.
The photo detail view shows a map of the shooting location when a photo contains location data. The map is provided by Apple's map service, and loading it sends approximate coordinates of the shooting location to Apple (the photo itself is never sent). You can turn this feature off in the app settings, in which case no coordinates are transmitted.
3. AI Photo Analysis
The app's photo analysis feature uses Apple's Vision framework and on-device AI (Apple Intelligence foundation models), and all processing happens on your device. Neither your photos nor the analysis results are ever sent to any external server, including ours. Analysis result caches are stored only on your device.
4. Photo Library Permission
- Photo library (read/write): Used to display your photos and to execute deletion requests you have approved. Data that is read is used only within the app and is never transmitted externally.
5. Tracking and Advertising
The app does not use any mechanism to track user behavior (App Tracking). It does not display advertisements.
6. Data Deletion
Uninstalling the app deletes all decision statuses, organization state, AI analysis caches, and settings stored on your device.
